Born in 1983, Eva Nielsen lives and works in Paris. After a master’s degree of European History and a DEUG of Modern Letters, she graduated in 2009 from École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris.
In 2008 recipient of a Socrates scholarship which allows her to study at Central Saint Martins in London, she won several awards : Friends of beaux-arts Award / Thaddaeus Ropac (2009), Art Collector Prize (2014), Grand Prix de la tapisserie d’Aubusson (2017). She has since participated in several group exhibitions in France and abroad : MAC VAL ; MMOMA (Moscow) ; Abbaye Saint-André-Centre d’art contemporain (Meymac) ; Musée d’art contemporain de Rochechouart ; Plataforma Revolver (Lisbon) ; LACE (Los Angeles) ; Babel Art Space (Trondheim) ; Kunsthal Charlottenborg (Copenhagen) ; Plymouth University.
Her work has also been presented at solo exhibitions : Paris (Galerie Jousse Entreprise), Istanbul (The Pill), Tunis and London (Selma Feriani). Her art work is part of several public and private collections : MAC VAL, FMAC, Musée d’art contemporain de Rochechouart, CNAP, Fiminco Foundation ...
