François Mendras was born in 1962, and lives in Paris.
His works have been presented in particular at Fondation Cartier, Musée d’art moderne et contemporain de Toulouse, Palais des Congrès de Paris, Centre d'art contemporain du Creux-de-l'Enfer in Thiers, Musée de Boulogne, as well as at the Fiac.
His artworks are included in several public collections such as Fonds national d’art contemporain, Frac Île-de-France, Frac Auvergne.
