Kimiko Yoshida was born in Tokyo, in 1963.
She has a double university education, in Japan (Chuo University & Tokyo College of Photography), then in France (École nationale supérieure de la photographie d’Arles & Studio national des arts contemporains-Le Fresnoy).
The artist, who met Jean-Michel Ribettes in 1996, lives between Paris, Venice and Tokyo.
