Born in 1992, lives and works in Mulhouse and Berlin.
Raphaël-Bachir Osman studied at Haute École des Arts du Rhin (HEAR Mulhouse and Strasbourg) from which he graduated in 2017, and at the Kunsthochscule Weissenssee-Berlin.
He is also co-director of Erratum Galerie, an artist-run-space located in Berlin Kreuzberg.
He has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Berlin and more recently, in 2019, his work was shown at Kunstraum Riehen in Basel, at Biennale Jeune Création Mulhouse 019 and at Prix Novembre in Vitry.
In 2020, he was nominated for the Révélations Emerige scholarship award, and obtained the research and creation grant from Création en cours des ateliers Medicis.
